Was listening to the TUP minilaunch (on Tuesday before Black Friday), and was growing a bit unimpressed. This seemed more and more like a fairy tale… and then suddenly this phrase (Maxine’s thought when they deployed a critical fix in <10min): “we finally started to trust developers” - and immediately, to my surprise, it brought tears to my eyes, literally. It really did hit a nerve (yes, I’m a developer). The point has been made 🙂

Perhaps the story would’ve been more impressive if I was an OPS person )
