I let out an uncontrollable chuckle when I read the part about Maxine loving Clojure, recalling the handful of times I've heard Gene profess his love of it at DOES. Anyone else find that amusing?

How do you identify potential members of the rebellion? it seems like an informal network hidden from the org. hierarchy. Anyone tried applying sociometry? i have a very small side project running at https://cliq.at/ which allows to conduct such surveys and trying to wrap my had around whether it could be used for this as well.

A majority of my "Lunch-and-Learn" meetings tend to address Erik's Third Ideal, "Improvement of Daily Work". For instance, I loved the book "Making Work Visible", by Domenica DeGrandis. So over the course of a few months, we covered a chapter or two during a lunchtime session. Some of the things we learned from these exercises we integrated into our Jira kanban board. So just like this bookclub is helping me to learn how to use Slack, these exercises with my team helped them learn more about Jira, kanban, etc.

Did anybody else see the irony of "The Rebel Resistance" meeting at "The Dockside"??

Is it possible to get some stickers for our laptops at the end of this book club? I think my laptop can use a fabulous unicorn sticker or a rebellion sticker.

Speaking of rebellion, who has started a rebellion at your own company before? I just had a very insightful listen when reading The Fifth Discipline, that "a rebellion of 1 will never be successful" (that it takes at least 3). It makes me realize how futile some of my prior rebel attempts were, and why some succeeded.
