Pitch Aruns.02:01:16

Hi all! I am Pitch from Bangkok, Thailand. I work as a consultant/solution architect for a consulting firm. I am a big fan of Phoenix project when it came out. I hope to learn more about the Five Ideals and how to apply engineering and technical practices in the enterprise.

Morning all! I'm Joel Gibson and I'm based out of the Toronto, Canada area. I work as a technical lead supporting a couple of enterprise software projects. My background is in infrastructure and operations, but I've made the leap and joined a development team. I really liked the Phoenix Project, made it part way through the DevOps handbook, and am looking forward to the Unicorn Project.

Good morning everyone. My name is Kirby Chatterley, I’m a Cyber Security consultant in Dallas. My background includes time working as a Technical Application Specialist, aka more tech savvy business analyst. So I have first hand exposure to the need for business and IT components working together. I then joined the cyber space, and realized they are even farther away from things than they think. My role with my current client is to help their cloud team build security up front vs adding it later. I’m also working with my company to help build the security into the DevOps teams. I loved the Phoenix project and the Unicorn project. I just wish there was another one with a strong focus toward security implementation into those worlds and more business alignment. It’s been really hard to get minds to shift away from the “this is how we’ve always done it” and then managing the DevOps guys away from me being in the way or the hammer toward faster development. Looking forward to see what other issues people have been dealing with
