Hello from Portland, Oregon. I'm a scrum master, product owner, project manager, and software engineer (depends on the day). I read the Phoenix Project early this year and am looking forward to reading the UP and the discussion with everyone.

Cam Crosbie00:01:39

Hi there from Ontario, Canada. I'm the CIO of a Canadian life insurer. Really enjoyed Phoenix and Unicorn even more. Looking forward to learning as much as possible with the group, eh. Cheers.

Hi! I'm a CTO/VP Engineering from Colorado. Between roles right now on a lovely 90 day sabbatical learning to paint, sleeping in, hanging with family and friends, and, of course, reading - I'm averaging at least a book a day. I've seen so many past experiences in both Phoenix Project and Unicorn Project - I also felt very validated in some of my own personal quests to be a better leader. Looking forward to discussing here.

Hi everyone, I am an independent Agile/DevOps culture coach with 10 years of Dev and 2 years of Ops experience. When Phoenix Project came out, I was just finishing up taking Gamification class on Coursera. All that ( and a desire to share the insights from the book with my co-workers who didn’t want to read) inspired me to create a simulation DevOps with LEGO and Chocolate :) The part I appreciate the most in Unicorn project - the 4th ideal. Happy to see this renewed focus on psychological safety.

Hi there everyone. I am from Houston, Texas. Am in the Cyber Security field helping organizations build and operate cost effective security programs to mitigate risk. I loved the Phoenix Project and excited about the Unicorn Project. Looking forward to conversing with everyone else.

Roman Pickl07:01:49

Hi folks! I'm Roman from Vienna / Austria. I'm a technical project manager with Elektrobit and was a CTO at fluidtime before that. I also speak at devops conferences and would love to be at the devops enterprise summit once. Due to my background in software engineering, business administration and computer & electronics engineering, I have specialized in working at the crossroads of technology and business innovation, DevOps being the sweet spot.

Saman10:01:28

Hi Everyone, I'm Saman from London / UK. I've recently taken up the role of Agile Lead for a Mainframe Infrastructure team in a global bank. I started my career in technology about 20 years ago as a production SQL Server/Sybase DBA, then moved into a DevOps (before the term was popular) role in mid 2010s. Loved Phoenix Project and ended up evangelising it by giving out multiple copies over the years 🙂 Looking forward reading Unicorn Project with you guys

Greating from Canada :flag-ca: I'm on a journey to understand organizations and people from a psychological perspective, and apply it in a social context to help people arrive at the right conclusions. Let's dive in!

Hello from Ohio, USA. I’ve been doing IT for 25+ years, starting out building Dial-up ISPs. I’ve worked in healthcare and military industries for the last 16 years and have become a bit of an expert level jack of all trades with storage, compute, virtualization, and various OSes. I have seen my fair share of Phoenix Projects and just recently helped pull one from the ashes. We have managed to reverse course and hopefully will be turning this into a Unicorn early this year.

Patrick Robinson17:01:42

Howdy from San Antonio, TX USA! I'm a software engineer interested in organization transformation with DevOps. Currently trying to incorporate DevOps practices in my organization, and I'm excited to start reading The Unicorn Project with y'all (you all)!

judy18:01:15

Hi everyone! I am a software engineer by degree with experience and certs as a program manager and Scrum Master. Was introduced to DevOps in 2013 when I started a corporate wiki and have been a huge Gene Kim (and DevOps) fan ever since. I have given a couple of DevOps talks on security and automation, which was way out of my comfort zone, but I find the DevOps community very welcoming, as well as diverse. Looking forward to interacting with this group.

Tom Henricksen18:01:41
