Apparently GitLab publishes their employee handbook online for anyone to read. There’s lots of excellent content in here. https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/ https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/about/ https://about.gitlab.com/company/culture/all-remote/asynchronous/

That’s right, I remember you saying that now! Can you explain this graphic? I couldn’t find anything that broke down the flow and responsibilities well.

Each of the areas (Create, Plan, Verify, etc.) is a stage of the DevOps lifecycle and there’s a corresponding product section. Outside of that we have 3 additional sections, Secure, Defend and Manage. I’m in the Verify Stage which is made up of several groups, Runner, Pipeline Authoring, CI and Testing (my group). There’s a pretty good explanation here: https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/product/product-categories/#hierarchy

Ah yeah I was trying to make sense of that page the other day but it wasn’t quite clicking for me. I’ll give it a read this weekend when there aren’t 1000 things going on and see if it sticks this time. Thanks!
