The following information contains the Slack guidelines, rules, and expectations, discussion schedule, and timeline for when Matthew and Manuel will be hosting Ask Me Anythings (AMAs). Please read carefully and let us know if you have any questions. Slack Guidelines You have access to three channels, which have the following uses: #intros_team_topologies: Start by introducing yourself! #discussions_team_topologies: All book and chapter discussions. #ama_team_topologies: Questions for the authors to answer in their AMAs, and conversations during the AMAs. (Post your AMA questions ahead of time.) #general: Any questions or comments for IT Revolution that are not related to Team Topologies. Please use threads to help keep the conversations organized. Hover over a comment (that isn’t already in a thread) posted in the channel and click the “Start a thread” icon that appears on the right. If you are new to Slack, there are lots of good tutorials on YouTube. If you’re still having issues, contact us. SLACK ADMINISTRATORS: @alexb (Alex) @annan @annp @leahb Rules & Expectations This experience is focused on interaction between readers. IT Revolution will facilitate the process and initiate conversations. Authors will be checking in each day on Slack to engage. They will also pop in at predetermined (and possibly some spontaneous) times for AMAs. 1. Please avoid directing all your messages and questions to the authors. Instead, participate with your fellow participants. (Don’t worry. You’ll get lots of time to interact with the authors as well.) 2. When citing specific examples from your work, please direct them at the group in a way that facilitates conversation and discourse. 3. Check-in and comment at least once per day. 4. Post your AMA questions ahead of time in the #ama_team_topologies channel. 5. No solicitations or harassment of other participants.* *Please reach out to @alexb on Slack or email <mailto:alexb@itrevolution.net|alexb@itrevolution.net> to report any improper conduct. Violators will be warned or removed depending on the severity of the offense. How to "Start a thread" (only works for messages that aren't already part of a thread)
