I have a dev friend who hadn't read The Phoenix Project so I recommended it to him today. He initially said he doesn't really read a whole lot nowadays so I sent him the audbile link. This was at noon our time today. By 4 he was texting me about what was going on in the first few chapters and we've been talking about it since lol

I bought some copies of the hardcover for my engineering teams one Christmas.

awesome! what'd they think of it?

I love this book - It's human side of IT business. Many people think about IT only from technology perspective which is terrible.

Update: mr “I don’t really read” is now on chapter 19 and “can’t stop listening every second I get”

If you listen at 1.25 or 1.5 speed, it makes everything seem much more urgent and impactful, at least that was the feedback from my engineers….

Oh man, idk if I could handle that. It was already making me tense when I listened to it at normal speed lol
