@alexb would it be possible to make a channel called Slackoverflow specifically for more technical/architectural discussions not related to any particular book? e.g. this question from Mike in ama_unicorn_project: https://itrevbookclub.slack.com/archives/CRWA11YN7/p1578569458414200 Would there be interest from anyone else in something like that? We have a lot of folks with a lot of engineering experience in here and I think it'd be awesome to have a place to share some of that as well.

Question about the different parts of the book. Which chapter starts part 2? I'm on Audible so was hoping someone with the paper version can tell me real quick.

I would like to share a small story about accelerating our efforts using the Unicorn Project and driving some Lean learning and self organisation in the process of reading. Back in November I sourced a number of copies of the book and donated x10 to the company I work with (I am a Systemic Coach there). The argument was that the price of the book was the best money spent getting everybody to understand the Business & Engineering transformation that we needed to drive jointly. Of course the x10 copies would not accommodate the 400 or so people and multiple geographies in the space. And many don’t read but rather ordered the Audio book. It does not matter, it is the whirlpool effect that counts and everybody getting on the same page. For the readers I asked to write their name at the front of the book and the dates when they got it, when they finished it. This is to encourage them to think about their WIP limits, fast turn around time and their colleagues. I also asked them to return the book, not to me but to somebody else in the team that could benefit from reading it. Books are going through multiple cycles with active practice of collaboration, WIP limits, cycle time, etc. They even created a Confluence page about it to manage the queue of next readers (pull system, yeay!!) :-) The POs have passed a book to the business who is now counting the “Sarahs” amongst their ranks and suggesting that we should start a Rebellion. The leadership is catching up and looking to get a bulk order. Even better, they have to read it themselves so to be on the same page. As a coach, it is not cannibalising at all my work, it is bringing energy and making a leap forward to make the work that much more interesting. Hallelujah to all this!! Thank you @genek for making all this possible.
