So it happens: I just got an email from one of our top managers who read the Phoenix project over the holiday (maybe because it was free for 24 hours) and he found out that I'm interested in this stuff as he found a video where I talk about devops (https://youtu.be/B_tCxLcZ4UI). He wants to talk to me tomorrow or next week about how to apply it in a wider context. What would you make sure to stress?

Hey @US97FDXDW how did it go? Would you see this manager as a Steve or a Bill (or another character from the books)?
It was shifted to today. So any last minute hints are valuable. He participated in an advanced c++ quiz we held recently, which reminded me of steve. He also plays an important part in our townhalls.
Hope it goes well, sounds like the exactly the right character to aid change. I'm prattling on about waste and developer productivity to anyone who will listen. I found the stat in TUP about time spent on actual development in relation to getting product to a customer shocking. Then I realized that was our world.
He just left with the devops handbook, the unicorn project and projects to product and wants to read the handbook until next Wednesday. He also wants to introduce the dashboard I've created for another part of the business. He also liked the idea of creating a book club. Let's see.
